9/29: Lailanie Attends TAAF’s AAPI Leadership Summit in SF
Lailanie attended The Asian American Foundation’s AAPI Leadership Summit in San Francisco, CA on September 29th as Manager of the Asian American Documentary Network. She joined nearly 200 executives across sectors- philanthropy, corporations, nonprofits, media, and government- to collaborate on solutions for key issues impacting the AAPI community. The day started with an inspiring keynote from trailblazer, @helenziareal, then heard from panelists about the work being done and aspirations and opportunities for our future. Then our attendees rolled their sleeves up and got to work! Lailanie participated in the Cultural Narrative Change breakout session. The day ended with a sneak preview of Frank Chi’s 38 at the Garden, which is now available on HBO.
