Asian American Stories in the Time of Coronavirus by A-Doc

As the pandemic gripped the nation in March 2020, a rise in anti-Asian sentiment resulted in Asian Americans being targeted for racist attacks. As a response to the much-needed representation of the Asian community, the Asian American Documentary Network (A-Doc) commissioned Asian American Stories in the Time of Coronavirus. A-Doc released a series of 15 micro-documentaries and 3 personal essays on social media. Recorded by documentarians of the Asian diaspora, these stories reflect a wide range of Asian American narratives, including courageous frontline workers, vulnerable seniors, and the heartbreak of losing family to COVID-19. #AsianAmCovidStories
